Exchanges
Changed your mind – exchange unopened item policy
If you change your mind and would like to exchange your unopened order for something else, you may exchange it for another item(s) of equal or greater value. We will waive the restock fee for these exchanges but the "to" and "from" shipping as well as any difference in price will be your responsibility.
Requesting a Refund
For Opened Units
Within 30 days of receipt, you may return for a refund, opened units that are 100% complete and have not been installed. Since this product return is not due to our error, a 15% restocking fee plus the "to" and "from" shipping and handling costs will be assessed. Since these units are opened, they cannot be sold as new. Opened units include items damaged in shipping and defective items where we are not allowed an opportunity to correct the error. Any shipping and handling costs are not reimbursed.
- All returns must include a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). This enables us to coordinate your return with the distribution warehouse to get the fastest response to your needs. RMA# requests are made via our Support Help Desk.
- All returns without an RMA number will be refused at our warehouse and returned to the sender.
- Items must be in original packaging, in good condition with the original packing slip, all warranty cards, UPC labels, manuals and accessories. No refund can be issued if any of these items are missing.
- Please allow 2-5 business days for your RMA request to be processed. When an RMA number is issued, an email will be sent to the address you provide to us via our help desk and/or your Request Form. This email will contain your RMA number as well as information regarding return shipment of your unit.
- Please allow approximately 30 business days from the date the distributor receives the item back to refund your account.
For Unopened (NEW) Units
You may return unopened units for a refund within 30 days of receipt. Since this product return is not due to our error, a 10% restocking fee plus shipping and handling costs will be assessed. "To" and "From" shipping costs associated with this return are not reimbursed.
- You will be responsible for the "to" and "from" shipping costs.

- Shipment of warranty replacement parts: For each specific claim of failure, EZTANKLESS will pay for standard outbound shipping service costs within the 50 U.S. states. This applies to the first warranty related shipment only. If additional warranty parts are needed EZTANKLESS may request payment for actual shipping charges. Additional charges for expedited shipping services are the responsibility of the customer. Shipments requested after 12:00 noon EST will be sent the following business day. (Excluding recognized shippers holidays, and parts on backorder)
- Return of damaged or warranty parts: On rare occasions, EZTANKLESS may require specific parts to be returned to our USA warehouse for inspection before shipping replacement parts. Shipping costs back to EZtankless.com must be paid for by the end user/customer. Call tags will never be issued.
